Stephanie Matheos


           Stephanie Matheos is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and holds a  Master's Degree in Physical Education. She loves teaching good health practices to women of all ages. The formal training and education Stephanie has acquired in this subject area has given her a strong foundation and impressive knowledge base. She currently works as a fitness instructor and is the founder of 'The Fitness Belle - Personal Training for Women'.  Stephanie feels her main responsibility as a personal trainer is to educate, encourage, and challenge her clients through uniquely planned workouts designed to ensure optimal results. She helps to awaken the individual's motivation, both intrinsically and extrinsically in hopes that their commitment to exercise and healthy eating will lead to lifelong fitness.


        The ability Stephanie has to relate to the challenges women go through to stay fit stems from her own personal weight loss obstacles. Having always been an athlete and frequent exerciser, she never imagined gaining so much weight in college. Stephanie started to feel uncomfortable in her clothes and with her lack of energy. She would ask herself.. "If I can't be at a healthy weight and in shape as a young woman...what will I look like 20 years from now?" Her journey toward change and a heightened level of fitness began when she started graduate school to obtain her Master's Degree in Physical Education. At the same time, she started working at an all-women's gym and was immersed in the fitness culture. Being surrounded by the health conscious energy from both her workplace and her school enviroment proved to be a great enough influence for Stephanie to start shedding the pounds...and then some! Now being in the best shape of her life and losing a total of 50 pounds from start to finish, she is proud to spread the word of her healthy lifestyle and training secrets to others! By changing her mindset and refering back to her own influential personal trainers, Stephanie has now become the one giving guidance to others. She truly understands the postive impact a personal trainer can make in someone's life.  


          It is of the utmost importance for us to think about the future of our health at any age. Every woman deserves to be in great health, have a strong physique, and be energized throughout her day!
